Business Automation & Operations Manager (all genders)

Festanstellung, Vollzeit · Berlin

Your Role

This role combines a builder’s mindset with operational ownership and hands-on execution to drive growth and operational excellence. You own core operations, lead or contribute to cross-functional initiatives, design new processes and automate them – leveraging data, AI, and modern tooling where it creates real impact. We need someone who can turn complexity into clarity and manual tasks into AI-assisted, automated, and scalable systems, building the technical and operational backbone that allows every team to scale smarter, faster, and more efficiently with AI-enabled workflows.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Act as an Efficiency Architect: Systematically audit processes across Marketing, Sales & Account Management, Product, Support and People to identify where time or leverage is wasted – and implement AI, automation, or process improvements to fix it.

  • Build tools and no/low-code solutions: Design and deploy automated workflows using no/low-code platforms (e.g. Make, n8n, Gumloop). You act as the bridge between technical and non-technical teams, building tools that allow all functions to work autonomously.

  • Drive AI & support efficiency: Improve AI-enabled solutions and evaluations for internal systems and support functions (e.g., auto-ticketing, system validation).

  • Own Core Operations & Stakeholder Management: Take end-to-end ownership of critical workflows, including the active steering of our external Call Center. You act as their primary strategic partner to ensure service quality, while simultaneously redesigning internal processes to reduce manual touchpoints by 80%.

  • Data & Visibility: Build the monitoring and KPI frameworks that give Leadership visibility into the engine room (e.g. Call Center performance) without requiring manual reporting.

What You'll Need
  • You’re a go-getter, with a data-driven approach to solving complex operational challenges and you take end-to-end ownership of processes, ensuring solutions are not built in isolation but are fully integrated, maintained and continuously improved.

  • You are a pragmatic problem-solver who prefers shipping a “good enough” automated solution today over waiting for a perfect custom-code solution next month.

  • You have a systems-thinking, KPI-driven work style with a pragmatic focus on outcomes and process improvement.

  • At least 3 years of experience in high-complexity environments (startup/scale-up, consulting) in Operations, RevOps, Product, or Growth/Business Development.

  • You have a collaborative, non-hierarchical working style and willingness to step beyond strict role boundaries when needed.

  • You have a positive, proactive attitude that strengthens our friendly and supportive team culture.

  • You are a proven builder profile: hands-on experience creating internal tools, automations or AI-enabled workflows that reduce manual work.

  • Strong skills in no-/low-code automation (n8n preferred, Make.com or Zapier), plus basic SQL or Python, BI tools, CRM systems and MS Office/Google Workspace.

  • You hold a relevant degree (Bachelor+), ideally in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Business Administration, or Economics with excellent grades.

  • Fluent German (>C1) and English (>C1) in speaking and writing.

What We Promise
  • A setup that provides a great foundation and exciting projects with massive uplift potential

  • A friendly and ambitious team that values the importance of a fun work environment

  • Great possibilities for personal development through challenging tasks, strong team members and experienced mentors

  • The chance to join Neuraum at a truly interesting point in the company’s history and the opportunity to shape the future of building for a better life!

  • A competitive compensation and attractive benefits

  • Regular team events and a modern office in Berlin-Kreuzberg (with a view on Landwehrkanal)
